ABCO Exam C Couch

The ABCO Exam C 2 section Couch has been designed and manufactured in Australia with a 5 year warranty[*] utilising the latest technology as a strong, stable couch with fewer moving parts and potentially risky pinch points
 
As such, it is long enough and wide enough for most patients. The minimum height of 50cm makes access for frail or disabled patients easy.
 
The braked castor system makes moving the couch easy without compromising stability in use.
Alternatively, a base without wheels is available for situations where the couch will not be moved regularly
 
A comprehensive range of factory fitted options allows you to specify the best configuration for your requirements.
 
The height and backrest are electrically adjusted using a hand control.

While the lifting capacity of 350kg may rarely be required, the robust structure required to support this capacity ensures a long, trouble-free life.

Upholstery Fabric Vinyl – Medical grade heavy duty vinyl fabric. Formulated to inhibit hardening and breakdown of the PVC surface due to perspiration and oils. Light fast, fire retardant, sanitised and stain resistant.
  Foam 38mm high density foam rolled over the edges of the strong plywood base covered with 12mm of soft foam for enhanced comfort while providing a full working width and extended life.

Our standard vinyl upholstery is Studio brand medical grade heavy-duty vinyl fabric.
The exclusive formulation delivers a superior softness for comfort including excellent strength and wear characteristics.
Formulated to inhibit hardening and breakdown of the PVC surface due to perspiration and oils; light fast; fire retardant; sanitised; stain resistant.
Maintenance:
  • Recommended cleaning with chemically neutral soap and warm water, then wipe clean.
  • Do not dry-clean or use abrasive or solvent based products.

A foot control is preferable:
  • If you need to adjust the height or upholstery configuration of your table or chair during a procedure without using your hands.

Choose a hand control: 
  • If you don't need to make these adjustments during a procedure or can do so by hand.
  • Where you need to move your table or chair regularly
  • If the location is not suitable for a foot control [eg a wet area]

Select a double hand or foot control to control your table from either side.
Standard
A remote Infra-red hand contol can be stored away from it's place of use for security purposes. It can also be used with several tables in separate rooms
Suitable for most ABCO Health Care products subject to confirmation.
  • The batteries are mounted in a pack attached to the base framework and integrate with a special control box. This control box is not interchangeable with the standard control box which must be replaced for a field upgrade.
  • 1.2ah @24vDC.
  • Based on a typical load of 30% maximum actuator rating this permits approximately 35 up/down cycles when fully charged.
  • The actuator may be used with either mains or battery power.
  • Charge fully overnight before use, using mains cable to actuator system.
  • Frequent charging will extend the battery life which, subject to the usage pattern, will be up to 4 - 5 years. Infrequent charging may reduce this by as much as 60%.
