The ABCO Cardiac / Ultrasound / Imaging Couch has been developed in Australia to handle patients up to 350kg in a clean, uncluttered structure.
The cardiac cut-out drops down as required to provide unhindered access to the torso
The two-column structure improves the safety of the couch as there are far fewer points where stray fingers or limbs may be caught. It is long enough and wide enough for most patients while the minimum height of 52cm makes access for frail or disabled patients easy.
±15° Trendelenberg is a standard inclusion.
The braked castor system makes moving the couch easy without compromising stability in use.
The height, ±15° trendelenberg and backrest are all electrically adjusted using a foot control leaving both hands free for treatment. The foot control includes reset buttons for horizontal and -ve Trendelenberg.
While the lifting capacity of 350kg may rarely be required, the robust structure required to support this capacity ensures a long, trouble-free life
