Change Tables

ABCO Health Care manufactures a range of change tables that are suitable for adults, children and infants. They are primarily used in schools, disabled accommodation, sports & special needs facilities and in other locations where clients need help with toileting or changing.

Our change tables adjust in height from 50 – 90cm allowing an easy and safe transfer for individuals who are unable to transfer themselves and help to reduce the risk of injury during the transfer process from wheelchair or bed and a comfortable working height for carers.

Optional fold down and padded sides and ends or straps provide extra security for active individuals – a side and two ends are standard on the shorter Junior Change tables.

These change tables have four individually braked wheels, which make moving the table easy without having to compromise on any stability. One of the four wheels has a directional locking break which helps control and leads the table while in motion.

Our tables are an essential aid for carers who work with children or adults with special needs or with any other person living with disabilities. They provide the patient with a safe and comfortable space where they can receive any assistance required. also provide the carer with the assurance of a reliable table that not only reduces the risk of any injuries to the patient but allows for the carer to provide the most efficient, safe care.

A change table should roughly align with your hip, which will allow for a comfortable, upright posture with minimal strain. ABCO's changing tables are height adjustable, so you can customise the height to a position that is comfortable for you.
Most of our standard changing tables have a lifting capacity of 300kg, while our [ABCO Infant Change Table - Height Adjustable] and [ABCO Space Saver Change Table] have a lifting capacity of 100kg and 150kg respectively.
Our Cot sides and Cot ends are optional accessories that can be specified with the initial order or added to the table later. These accessories provide additional safety by preventing the individual from rolling off while elevated on the table. Keeping the individual secure allows the helper to be able to change or assist the individual in a more proficient and safer manner.
