Space Saver Change Table

ABCO Health Care’s Space Saver Change table is designed and manufactured in Australia as an alternative to wall mounted change tables.

This freestanding unit removes the need for specialised installation and makes moving and cleaning easy.

It compacts to less than 30cm off the wall* when not in use which is ideal where space is already compromised.

By using twin columns, we can offer a sturdy structure with no length-wise movement while adjusting height and the clear space between the base and top of the table improves safety, giving you peace of mind about potential crush injuries

With interchangeable tops, the table size can be increased as the user grows and an optional padded cot side to enhance client safety can be easily added or removed at any stage.

With a minimum height of less than 500mm patients can transfer to the Space Saver change table independently, from a wheel chair or with a hoist. Carers can adjust the working height to the best level for them using the hand control.

Our standard vinyl upholstery is Studio brand medical grade heavy-duty vinyl fabric.
The exclusive formulation delivers a superior softness for comfort including excellent strength and wear characteristics.

Maintenance:
  • Recommended cleaning with chemically neutral soap and warm water, then wipe clean.
  • Do not dry-clean or use abrasive or solvent based products.

Upholstered Tops are interchangeable so can be replaced as the child grows or circumstances change.
Suitable for ABCO Examination Couches, Change Tables and Neurological Couches. A factory fitted option providing an upholstered cot side to provide a fixed side barrier to the table The cot side swings below the side of the top upholstery for storage when not in use.

Suitable for most ABCO Health Care products subject to confirmation.
  • The batteries are mounted in a pack attached to the base framework and integrate with a special control box. This control box is not interchangeable with the standard control box which must be replaced for a field upgrade.
  • 1.2ah @24vDC.
  • Based on a typical load of 30% maximum actuator rating this permits approximately 35 up/down cycles when fully charged.
  • The actuator may be used with either mains or battery power.
  • Charge fully overnight before use, using mains cable to actuator system.
  • Frequent charging will extend the battery life which, subject to the usage pattern, will be up to 4 - 5 years. Infrequent charging may reduce this by as much as 60%.
